Detailed description is The College Skills Center at North Idaho College houses a variety of programs designed to assist North Idaho College students with their educational goals.
Here at the College Skills Center, we strive to provide a usable, friendly, reliable place for you to study.
Our peer tutors are previous students that have completed the very courses you are possibly needing help in.
They know what it is like to sit through the classes, study for the tests, and stress over the grades.
Through your attendance as an NIC student you are entitled to two free hours per week, per subject, for any classes you are taking at NIC.
(Unfortunately we do not do English classes, see the Writing center for those).

Along with our peer tutoring program, we have a computer lab, printing capabilities, calculator checkout, and plenty of room for study groups.

The College Skills Center is also the location of the Math Study Center, (closed in summer), where math instructors provide their time to help with any math questions you may have.
This is provided on a drop in basis with no reservation or scheduling needed.
Check the schedule to make sure a math instructor will be available.
(remember, Math Study Center is not open in summer).
