Together with my husband, Angelo, we own and operate four luxury vacation homes, all with private pools, located in Old Town Niagara on the Lake. Our town has been voted Canada's #1 food and wine destination by TripAdvisor, something we are very excited about. . . We purchased our first property, Simcoe Pines, in 2000 and started running it as a vacation home in 2003. Between 2004 and 2006, we purchased 3 additional properties in the town. Angelo ran the business on his own until the Fall of 2014 when I retired from my company and joined him full time. . . Since 2003 we have welcomed thousands of guests into our homes and have many returning guests come and stay in our properties year after year. We personally own these homes and take great care in ensuring an exceptional stay for our guests that vacation in any of our properties. As a result of this hands on approach, we have earned over 200 5 Star reviews across HomeAway, VRBO and TripAdvisor.. . All four of our properties are very unique and exemplify what Niagara on the Lake represents. Our oldest home, Avalon, dates back to 1820 and Simcoe Pines, 1850. All of them feature heated swimming pools set in mature private gardens and are located in Old Town, walking distance to Queen Street, the golf course and the lake. . . We are reminding all of our guests to come to us directly through Facebook, our web site or by phone to avoid going through the big box listing sites such as VRBO, HomeAway. They now charge guests booking fees ranging from 6-15%! Why pay fees to big corporations?. On a week long stay in the summer it would be $400-$500 USD added to your stay...just for finding our home on their site.. They also do not allow you (the guests) and us as owners to have each other's contact info until they get payment from you first to secure they get their booking fee.. .
