All applicants must meet the following requirements as set forth in our bylaws:.

-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Must submit a completed application.
-Must submit to any criminal history check and driver's history check via any agency deemed appropirate by the squad.
-Must be physically capable of participating in the aid to the sick and injured, have the appropriate emotional and psychological maturity to handle situations that occur being a provider of emergency medical treatment.
-Must provide both personal and employment references.

There are several positions in the squad which each require training.
All training will be paid for by the squad.
The positions are:.

1) Ambulance Driver:.
-Valid N.J.
Driver's License.
-CPR for Healthcare Providers with AED Training.

2)First Responder.
All of the requirements of Ambulance Driver, plus:.
-First Responder Training.

3) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
All of the requirements of First Responder, plus:.
-Emergency Medical Technician training.
