Detailed description is New Horizon Community Outreach Center (NHCOC) will provide before and after school programs including tutoring for children in reading, math, science, and language arts.
NHCOC has trained educators that are driven to see our youth excel academically.
Several Tattnall County High School youth with known academic success will provide peer tutoring and mentorship for younger students that need additional assistance.
In exchange they will receive needed volunteer hours for their college admissions, scholarships requirements, and civic organizations they are currently involved.
NHCOC will have a computer lab that will be able to have up to 6 laptops, so that students access for research, skill building, and additional assistance in academics.
NHCOC will provide basic computer classed for adults who want to become for proficient with computer skills.

NHCOC will offer three (3 week) a summer day camp sessions for children ages 8-13 with sports, interactive games, team building, arts and crafts, leadership development, and social awareness.
