Detailed description is New Faith Church was founded in 1994 is a place where you are Welcomed, Wanted and Loved. Pastor Allen B. McDaniel Sr., and family Welcomes You! On June 12, 1994, 17 people met in the sanctuary of Rock of Faith Missionary Baptist Church (where the Rev. Fleet Belle is Pastor) to discuss organizing a church. Everyone agreed to begin this church and it needed a Pastor. Rev. Allen B. McDaniel, Sr. was chosen as Pastor of this Church.. . The name New Faith was chosen out of about 13 other names. One reason this name was chosen is because it spoke for itself. New being described as one recently developed and Faith, being described as having trust, confidence and belief in god. This church possessed all of these characteristics. . . After worshiping at night for about a month, Rock of Faith and their pastor were kind enough to let us worship in their fellowship hall. This is when the membership of new Faith began to grow. The late Dea. Earnest Stephens was the first Deacon of New Faith. Later Dea. Roosevelt White, Dea. Bobbie J. Minter & Dea. Albert Winston was ordained as Deacons of New Faith.. . New Faith Missionary Church was organized by the Ministries Council on August 28, 1994. The first baptism was held at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. J.W. McDaniel, Jr. was Pastor. In September of 1995, Bro. William Kelley found an unoccupied rental property on Halls Mill Road. After consulting with the entire church, the building was acquired and is now known as New Faith Missionary Baptist Church. The Fourth Sunday in October of 1995 was our first Sunday worshipping in our own building. In 1996, God moved in a way that we were able to purchase the entire block in which our church was located..
