Our Operations team is currently using this system in conjunction with manual co-ordination of all vehicles and freight. . . Route planning also carried out by the operations team to ensure that vehicles and appropriate trailers are available when and where required. Planning is initiated 2 to 5 days in advance and constantly monitored using the satellite to highlight any potential delays. . . Warehousing is overseen by a Manager who is responsible for the control and flow of products through the storages. All personnel working in the area are qualified forklift operators.. . All office personnel are mindful of correct information flow and insist on proper documentation from all delivery drivers. Management is constantly monitoring these processes. . . All drivers, upon gaining employment with Neil's Transport are trained in the following;. (i) Operations of the company. (ii) The vehicles. (iii) The correct recording of loads and trips.
