Detailed description is Grupo de Capoeira da Cidade de Aragarças-GO A célula inicial do que seria o Grupo Nativo começou a existir no final de 1997, em Aragarças-GO.
O Grupo Nativo é uma dissidência do Grupo CAPOAL - Capoeira de um Povo Afro-Latino, por motivos de ideologias distintas e objetivos diferentes, mas com todo o apoio do Mestre Chris, Presidente do CAPOAL, o então monitor Leopardo deixa o grupo e forma o GRUPO NATIVO DE CAPOEIRA FOLCLORE E CULTURA..
Os treinos ocorriam na sede da Escola de Ensino Especial de Aragarças (APAE), antigo CCRH, gentilmente cedido pela Diretora da APAE em Aragarças, Dona Regina.
Após a APAE se mudar para o Clube da CDL - Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas, o grupo também começa um trabalho naquele local onde permanece até janeiro de 2001.
Em fevereiro muda-se para a vizinha cidade de Barra do Garças, no Mato Grosso, em endereço próprio onde o Grupo ficou um ano, nesse tempo tínhamos professores ministrando aulas na Perfomance Academia, Academia Nocaute e Escola Infantil "O Pastorzinho"..
Após esse período, em dezembro de 2001, volta para Aragarças e recomeça com uma turma nova no CERCA - Colégio Estadual Rubens Correa de Aguirre..
O grupo já realizou vários eventos de Batizados e Troca de Cordas, que é uma tradição na Capoeira pelo mundo, o primeiro foi um Batizado Show com Mestres de Goiás, Mato Grosso e Distrito Federal, foi um grande sucesso, com participação maciça da comunidade e autoridades da região.
Tudo devidamente registrado em vídeo.
O segundo, foi realizado junto com uma Oficina de Capoeira Angola, foi também um sucesso, com participação de vários alunos da região e Mestres de Mato Grosso e Mato Grosso do Sul e o terceiro ocorreu em dezembro de 2002, dando a seqüência ao anterior, teve também uma Oficina de Capoeira Angola, ministrada pela AMCA, oficina esta que teve o escopo de reciclar os instrutores e alunos que haviam participado da anterior..
Já passaram pelo grupo alunos provenientes de diversas partes do mundo, como Finlândia, EUA, Austrália e Costa Rica, com os quais o Diretores e alunos sempre mantém contato pela web.
