Detailed description is NMTCQ - goal is to encourage students to go into a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) related career field National Math Team Challenge Quiz is a subsidiary of Nations Changers Inc. Our goal is to encourage students to go into a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) related career field in order to adequately meet the demand of the current U.S. STEM jobs. According to many statistics STEM has been a powerful engine of prosperity in the U.S since World War II but currently the U.S. is not able to fill millions of STEM jobs that are currently available in the country. Having a strong background in mathematics will provide the foundation that students need to enter this field.. . For students to achieve this goal they will have to be prepared. A math team competition will encourage students to collaborate for the good of their team which will help students to improve their knowledge of math and provide the foundation needed to enter a STEM career. Each level will be tested on current math problems that are applicable to their grade. Many institutions including the government are taking steps to encourage students to go into STEM careers and fill the job shortage in the country. . . We at NMTCQ believe that one of the ways to achieve this goal is to get parents and teachers involved in galvanizing students and encouraging them to reach higher together.
