His endeavour of quality patient care started in 1993 when he started the first Narmada Hospital in the town of Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh.
Here he introduced C-arm in rural setting when this was still unknown technology in the operation theatres of hospitals in urban Madhya Pradesh.
