The Rowe family owned Naringal for 170 years.
William Rowe originally settled at Naringal in 1841 and the original homestead site by the creek was thought to be built in the late 1840's.
The original slab hut has been rebuilt and remains a landmark today along with the family cemetery that was first used in the 1860's and is still in use...

The double brick homestead (c.1904) has since been completely renovated.
