Detailed description is Myrrhee Primary School is part of the vibrant King Valley Primary Schools Cluster. Our aim is to provide an outstanding education within a supportive and caring environment that makes children passionate about learning for the rest of their lives. Our large bush site offers wonderful outdoor adventures while our community supports us with learning in practical skills in fields of woodwork, textiles, pottery, metalwork and much more. We have an integrated approach to curriculum with a strong emphasis on the teaching and learning of English and Maths. This integrated approach provides the stimulus, links and contexts for development in learning. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills are integral to our programs. Singing is taught on a fortnightly basis by Carol Kunert our A Capella tutor. Guitar and drum lessons are also available fortnightly. Our camps and excursions boast snorkeling and surfing in the sea, snow skiing in our local mountains, sailing on our local lakes and a range of environmental activities in our local area.. We have created extended transitional opportunities for year 7 students to use our integrated learning approach to fully prepare them for a successful secondary journey.. Our staff comprises two teachers as well as support staff. Support staff consists of visiting Art and Library Teachers, as well as Technology and Administration support staff..
