O Museu Felícia Leirner, instituição do Governo do Estado de São Paulo administrada pela Secretaria de Estado da Cultura em parceria com a ACAM Portinari (Associação Cultural de Apoio ao Museu Casa de Portinari), Organização Social de Cultura, com sede em Brodowski (SP), foi inaugurado em 1978 e ocupa aproximadamente 35 mil m2 dentro de um fragmento da Mata Atlântica, importante bioma brasileiro, em Campos do Jordão (SP). A atuação da instituição se dá em três eixos: nas Artes Visuais, representadas pelas 84 esculturas confeccionadas pela artista que dá nome ao Museu, considerado um dos acervos de esculturas mais importantes do Brasil, na Música, representada pelo Auditório Cláudio Santoro, palco do mais importante festival de música clássica da América Latina, e no Patrimônio Ambiental, representado pela área onde está localizado o museu.. .
