İzmir'de doğdu. 1985 den itibaren istanbulda yaşamaktadır.İlkokul yıllarında resim çizgilerinin düzgünlüğü ve bu konudaki yeteneği o zamanki öğretmenleri tarafından farkedildi ve 1990 dan itibaren ilk olarak Hattat Ekrem Yılmaz dan kaligrafi,kısa bir süre Hattat Davud Bektaş tan hüsn ü hat (sülüs) eğitimi aldı.1996 yılı itibariyle büyük usta Kaligraf Sinan Sinangil'den ders almaya başladı. 2006 da kendisinden sözlü icazeti alarak meşk usulu yetişmiş tek talebesi oldu .Ayrıca Berç toroser ve Etem Çalışkan gibi ustalardan da feyzler aldı.Türkiye ve İstanbul tanıtımları için katıldığı yurtdışı organizasyonlarda birçok batılı kaligraf ve bu konudaki neşredilmiş dökümanlardan istifade etmiş olması hem kendi hem kaligraf ağabeyi Ömer ile beraber belli bir yazı tavrı oluşturması açısından büyük açılım sağlamıştır.200'ü aşkın uluslararası Fuar ve kültür etkinliklerinde yer aldı ve 80'in üzerinde TV Programına kaligrafi konulu olarak konuk oldu.Türkiye'nin birçok yerinde bu programlar ve etkinlikler vesilesiyle yazılarından feyz alan talebeleri yetişmeye başlamıştır. Kaligrafi ile beraber Ressam Ruhsar yıldız' dan Karakalem ve yağlıboya dersleri aldı(1999-2001), Perihan dönmez,Süheyla Altmışdört,Mehmet Güntekin hocalarından Türk Musikisi nazariyatı dersleri(1996-2001),Kanuni Göksel Baktagir ve Kanuni Halil Karaduman'dan kanun dersleri aldı (1996-2003).Zübeyde Hanım Kültür Merkezinde 2003-2004 Tiyatro eğitimi aldım ve'' Bir Adam Yaratmak'' oyununda oynadı .Eğitimini Anadolu Üniversitesi kamu yönetimi ile tamamladı. Günümüzde birçok uluslararası kaligrafi yarışmalarında ülkemizi temsilen jürilik görevi yapmaktadır.
