Detailed description is Move Shake Dance 2014!! Saturday 18 January 2014, 9am - after 10pm. Central Coast Dance, Erina Fair, Erina. . Feel good, do good. Dance! This is for anyone who loves to dance, or would like to try it ... or dancers, dance schools or dance teachers who would like to promote their dance school or dance style. Move Shake Dance is a full day of dance workshops to be held on Saturday 18 January 2014. It is made up of 30-40 minute "taste" workshops, for over 12 hours, hosted by Central Coast Dance, Erina Fair, and we need you!!. Move Shake Dance is actually a charity event promoting and raising money for The Arts Warehouse, Regional Youth Support Services, which promotes youth talent in the arts, which is particularly valuable for those without access to facilities at schools and home, such as homeless youth. At the same time, this event promotes dance and provides an opportunity for anyone and everyone, of all ages, to try different styles of dance. . So, Move Shake Dance provides you an opportunity to dance and try different styles of dance in a marathon event! Anyone can join in, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers. . If you are interested in joining in, for a workshop.. an hour or two... or if you would like to make it a dance marathon, just let me know and I will forward you further information as soon as it comes out.. There are will be around 20 workshops, and we are seeking a celebrity dancer – more on that in the future! Each workshop costs just $7. But, just to get you trying new dance styles, there will be discounts - the more workshops you do, the more discounts you get. . For dance teachers/schools/dancers...... If you are a dance teacher, a dance school, or a dancer that would like to promote yourself, your style or start teaching, you are invited to teach a workshop. You can advertise yourself and your classes as much as you like, give your details and class information and take enrolments from potential students (if you are Sydney based, don't forget that many Central Coast residents work and dance in Sydney!). The more styles the better, so please come and donate a little of your time. It would be so very much appreciated, and you will have fun.. of course you are most welcome to join in for the rest of the day! Just let me know your best times and what style you would like to teach so I can schedule you in.. Don’t forget this is a charity event, for a fantastic organisation that does a great deal of good on less than even a shoestring budget, so every class, every instructor, every dancer is contributing to this worthy cause.
