Detailed description is Monroe ClayWorks is a division of Northeast Ceramic Supply, Inc.
We are a teaching studio, firing studio & have shows and workshops on our schedule.
Monroe ClayWorks is a division of Northeast Ceramic Supply, Inc.
We are a teaching studio with handbuilding and wheel work classes.
Our class sessions are 8 weeks long, cost is $300 per class.
Monroe ClayWorks will open officially on March 4, 2014.
We will have regular hours, Tuesday - Fridays 10:00 a.m.
until 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 a.m.
until 3:00 p.m.
and for Monroe ClayWorks Members the studio is open Sundays 1:00 p.m.
until 5:00 p.m..

Monroe ClayWorks (MCW) will have Second Saturday mini-workshops.
The first mini-workshop will be Saturday, March 8, 10:00 a.m.
until noon.
Barbara Reeley will be demonstrating throwing miniatures and talking about trimming, glazing and firing miniatures..

In addition, MCW will have alternating pit fires and raku fires.
The second Friday of each month, beginning April 2014.

April 11 we will have a pitfire beginning at 11:00 a.m.
and ending .
6 p.m.
All are welcome to bring bisqued pots, the charge is $5 per piece with a maximum size of 12" x 12".
All organic materials will be provided for the firing..

Our first Show & Sale will be on Saturday, May 17, 2014.
Time will be 10:00 a.m.
until 6 p.m.
Cost to do the show is $50.

For those interested there are Monroe ClayWorks Memberships available.
Becoming a member gives you a 2' x 4' shelf space, use of the Members Room, Library (it is not a lending library) and the additional Sunday hours.
In addition, Members can do our three yearly shows at no cost and there is no charge for pit/raku firings of up to three pieces per firing and no charge for attending the monthly Second Saturday mini-workshops.
