Rattachés au diocèse de Québec, nous nous consacrons à la prière et à l'adoration de l’Eucharistie selon l'esprit du bienheureux frère Charles de Foucauld.. . Le monastère de la Croix glorieuse dont notre fondateur nous a fait don avant de mourir, est établi au sommet de la Sainte montagne, à Sainte-Agnès, dans la merveilleuse région de Charlevoix. Nous nous y consacrons, dans l’isolement et le silence, au culte divin, assurant l'humble et noble service de la divine majesté dans la prière assidue, tout en nous adonnant au travail manuel et la lecture méditée de la parole de Dieu.Notre fondateur, le père Michel-Marie de la Croix, décrit de la façon suivante le charisme de notre communauté :. . « Établir une famille monastique pour faire régner Jésus et la charité, par l’imitation de la vie cachée de Jésus à Nazareth, vouée à l’Eucharistie célébrée et adorée, à la célébration de l’Office divin, dans le silence, la solitude et le nécessaire retrait du monde exprimé par la clôture monastique, menant une vie de famille intense mue par la concorde et la dilection fraternelle, dans la simplicité et la pauvreté. ». .
