Truly, the best of the best We are a small farm focused on giving our chickens the best of the best so they can produce great eggs for our customers.
Licensed by the state, Certified Organically Fed chickens, they are pasture raised with organic feed..
Our chickens receive living food every day of the year (winter or not) with our fodder system.
Supplemented with daily probiotics from our homemade kefir and homemade Kombucha, the chickens also get soil based probiotics as well from the roots of the plants in the fodder system.
The fodder system itself, takes the seeds/grains/legumes (all non GMO) and sprouts them.
Chickens digest the grains better when they are sprouted and utilized all the energy from the grains in this manner.
It is a wonderful system!.
By fall of 2016 our giant worm room should be in full production so the chickens don't lose Amino Acids in winter when the ground is frozen.
We expect to get around 5,000-7,000 worms per week!.
