Detailed description is One person business owned & operated by Brian Mizell. As a young boy I messed around with my hot wheels and painted them with moms fingernail polish.. . When I was about 16 I really got the urge to start painting cars... something about it just draws me in. I painted my youngest brothers K5 blazer with wal-mart spray cans... and not many people could beleive it was painted with that type of paint.. . I can look at an old rusty clunker and envision what it can look like after putting some TLC, Blood, Sweat, and sometimes tears into it.. . The reward for me is to stand back and look at the finished product and think to my self... "I did that" . . I take great pride in my work, if its going to have my name on it... then I want it to turn out the best that it can be to my abilities.. . I primarily will be painting motorcycles, but on occasion I will paint small cars & trucks.. . To my knowledge there are only two shops in the fort smith and surrounding area that will do everything required to paint a motorcycle. One of them is Righway Autobody, the other is Ty Taylor's Collision Center.. . The Harley Davidson shop will only work on Harley's; and they will only order new parts from the Harley Davidson factory. You can request custom paint work, but the starting price is $5000 (thats insane to me). . The body shops charge $45/hr for body and paint labor, and $28/hr for the paint materials. I dont know what the labor rates are at the Harley Davidson shop.. . Today as of Jan 6, 2012.... I went to Rightway Body shop and the Harley Davidson shop to get an estimate to repaint my 2006 Suzuki C50 the exact same way just a darker burgandy color.. . Rightway said they would do everything required to take it apart and paint it and put it back together for $1687.91 and it would take aproximately 3 weeks.. . The Harley Davidson shop said they would only work on Harleys (as previously mentioned) and there starting price is $5000 for custome work. they said it would take in the neighborhood of 6 weeks to get the new parts.. . I will do everything required to get your work done, and in most cases I can have it finished in 1 to 2 weeks.. . I only charge $30/her compared to $45, and I dont jack up the paint prices by 10% like most places do. Rest assured that I will work very hard to please my customers.
