Detailed description is Started in 1956, the distinguished Miss University of Florida Scholarship Pageant, sponsored by Florida Blue Key, is a local preliminary pageant for the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant and Miss America Pageant The distinguished Miss University of Florida Scholarship Pageant, sponsored by Florida Blue Key, is a local preliminary pageant for the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant and Miss America Pageant.
Started in 1956, the pageant has awarded University of Florida women thousands of dollars in scholarships over the years from Florida Blue Key.
Once crowned Miss UF, the winner will compete with fellow titleholders from across the state for the title of Miss Florida.
The Miss University of Florida Scholarship pageant consists of a private interview (40% of total score), a talent portion (30%), evening wear (10%), and swimwear (10%).
