Miss Bridge Fest & Miss Midland is classified as an "OPEN DUAL PAGEANT", open to young women across the state of Michigan.

The Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant is a preliminary to the Miss America Organization.
It is held each June in Muskegon, MI and makes available over $50,000 in cash scholarships to the young women who compete in the scholarship program, making this the largest scholarship program available to young women in the State of Michigan.
In order for a young woman to compete in the Miss Michigan Program, they must have won a local program such as the Miss Bridge Fest Scholarship Pageant.
Currently, the Miss Michigan Program has around 30 local programs who send contestants to the state program, and Michigan sends one of our finest ladies to Atlantic City to compete for the Miss America Organization, where over $40 million dollars in cash scholarships are made available to the 52 state title holders..
