The school is the lone secondary school of the West New York School District, an Abbott district that serves all of West New York.
The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1970.As of the 2014-15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,879 students and 144.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.0:1.
