Nous sommes un groupe de musiciens, souvent en trio, parfois en quintette, et nous sommes disponible pour animer vos «partys» privés ou corporatifs, vos évènements, avec des chansons populaires : Beatles - CCR - Bélanger - Leloup - Elvis - Plume - Pink Floyd - Desjardins - Cash - Dassin - Cabrel - Neil Young - Rolling Stone - Steve Miller - Lennon - Boule noire, entre autres…. . L’histoire…. Fin décembre 2016, je dois me rendre à l’évidence, il semble y avoir un besoin pour un groupe d’interprétations de musique populaire ici dans notre belle région de Lanaudière, afin d’animer nos différentes soirées. Je propose donc à mon ami et bassiste émérite François Marion (La Bottine Souriante, Terez Montcalm, Les Belles-Soeurs) de mettre sur pied un trio avec son frère, mon ami et guitariste Benoit Marion (Légende, chansonnier et compteur)… les deux acceptent d’emblée avec enthousiasme! Nous sommes alors 3 musiciens-chanteurs, étant moi-même guitariste, prêts pour la nouvelle aventure.. . L’histoire ne s’arrête pas là. Comme en région tout se sait, l’idée du projet a voyagé jusqu’aux oreilles de deux autres excellents musiciens chevronnés, issu de la musique traditionnelle d’ici, les frères Danny Baillargeon (Giroflée, B3, La Bottine Souriante, hommage aux aînés, Baqqhus) et Marco Baillargeon (Giroflée, B3, Baqqhus). Le premier se propose comme guitariste électrique, quoiqu’il soit aussi très à l’aise sur une mandoline et un banjo, et le deuxième agira comme batteur, même si pourtant l’accordéon ne semble plus avoir aucun secret pour lui.. . Nous sommes maintenant 3… + 2… . Deux pairs de frères et un cinquième d’adoption.. Des Mecs, des frères, chaleureusement nommés «Brothers» : Les MecBrothers = MB. . — Claude Paquette, Guitariste et chanteur..
