Detailed description is Education We are the recreation of the community school that existed in McIntosh from the 1870’s to 1948. It was known as a “community school of social action.” We recruit parents as partners for learning, civic and business partners to foster pride in the community, and institutions of higher learning. We received an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and School Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). We have an open door policy. Our students families are required to volunteer 20 hours each year, whether in the classroom or our many other opportunities. . .
