Stacy had been dismantling and rebuilding boats as early as his junior year of high school. In their earlier years Lloyd and Stacy built custom aluminum boats ranging from 13 to 28 feet. The Maxxum name stands for maximum strength and maximum performance.. Today Maxxum Marine customizes and sells boats from North River, Allied, Boulton and River Hawk Boats.
