Its 2011 population was 3,295.Its western boundary can be roughly defined as Birch Avenue, southern as Beechwood Cemetery, eastern as Aviation Parkway and northern as Ottawa River.It is an almost exclusively residential area, the great majority of its housing stock having been built in the late 1940s and early 1950s, by a consortium of five Ottawa area developers.
