Detailed description is Adaikalanathar Lutheran Church Youth Fellowship which is fondly called as "Cristhava Ilaingar Iyakkam" has both Boys and Girls wing separately.
We participate and have won in many competitions (Group Singing, Skit, Bible Trivia, Preaching, etc.) conducted by other churches in and around Chennai.
During the month of December, we travel all around the city (from Parrys to Urapakkam) for singing carols to announce the joy of our Lord’s birth.
With the money collected from the Carol rounds, we will be helping the poor, underprivileged and that part of the society which has to be taken care of.

Some of the good deeds we do with this money are:.
1. Paper Bag Mystery- On the afternoon of Christmas (December 25th), we reach around 100 unprivileged and poor people in the roads and lanes of Chennai, tell them the love of Jesus and the reason for his birth and provide them food..
The food will be kept in a Paper bag (with “Jesus Loves You” written on the bag in Tamil) which consists of Veg.Briyani, Raitha, Brinjal Chutney, Juice Bottle and a Promise Verse..
2. In the month of January, post Christmas we will reach an Irular community located in the outskirts of Thiruvallur Distrtrict to provide the children with dresses and sweets as Christmas gifts..
3. Post Christmas, we will go to orphanages and destitute homes to share the love of Jesus and sponsor a meal for them.
