Detailed description is Loyola Marymount University Children's Center is dedicated to providing excellent care for the children of LMU staff, faculty, students and the community.
LMUCC was established in August, 2002 by a small group of parents committed to having a school where their children and the children of the neighboring community could come together to laugh, play, and grow.
Care is available to children of current LMU students, faculty, and staff, with a limited number of spaces available to neighborhood residents.
Today, nearly eight years later, LMUCC hosts 110 children and 28 staff members.

Recently, LMUCC achieved accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), an honor bestowed upon less than 8% of child care centers nationwide.

In keeping with the Jesuit and Marymount traditions, LMUCC incorporates diversity into a values-centered curriculum.
LMUCC’s early childhood professionals are committed to educating the whole child – socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually – to set the stage for life-long learning.
