Our family farm is located in McIntosh Creek, just west of Gympie.
This is where we grow our beautiful lettuce varieties.
Each seed is planted by hand in our nursery section and then lovingly tended until it matures enough to be transplanted to the hydroponic tables.
This is where they will stay until picked and packed ready to be sold to restaurants, cafe’s, fruit and veggie stores and the markets..

The idea for our hydroponic farm began when Dave noticed rows of Hydroponic tables abandoned in a paddock, and every time he drove past he wondered if we could put them to good use.
He decided to pay a visit to the property to inquire if they would be interested in selling the tables, and to make an offer.
They said yes and so our adventure into growing lovely lettuce began..

We started out small, as we wanted to get it right before we went into full production.
Once we came to understand the best practises for the health and harmony of the lettuce, we added additional varieties and have grown from there.
All our lettuce are lovingly grown from seed by myself in our nursery and they are nurtured to maturity with Dave’s nutrient mix..

With Dave’s 30 years in farming and my retail background we are really enjoying the experience of hydroponics.
