Interest in recreational tourism prompted the LSU AgCenter to seek grant funding in 2011.
Agritourism coordinator, Dora Ann Hatch, applied for grant funds through the Walton Family Foundation in an effort to grow and nurture nature-based tourism on public and private lands in northeast Louisiana.
Since 2011, the LSU AgCenter has received $348,000 in grant funds..

To help sustain this effort, the decision was made to incorporate under the name of “Louisiana Delta Adventures, Inc.”.

As president, I want to extend an invitation to others to join our quest to make northeast Louisiana a premier destination for travelers.
