Our focus is on Urban Choreography, BUT we have a lot of exciting styles to offer this summer!*. . Urban Choreography: Urban dance is a genre, community, and lifestyle revolving around choreographed pieces and performances by a dancer or groups of dancers. It is influenced by several different dance styles, but is ultimately based on the choreographer’s individual interpretation of the music. -Steezy-. . Hip Hop : This focuses more on the culture and different styles, such as; Locking, Popping, BBoy, Groove, and more. It's a free movement based class and will definitely share a lot more than movements. This will focus on history, attitude, and vocabulary. . . Jazz Funk: A fusion of Urban and Jazz. High energy and will get you moving every second!. . Conditioning & Stretch: This class will focus on improving your cardio and strength, and flexibility as a dancer. We tend to focus so much on learning choreography that we forget to take care of ourselves! We will help you hit harder, move bigger, and know how strong your body can be! . . Open Session: Free hour of doing your own thing! We will have teachers that you can ask for help with anything. Explore your mind and body. Jam out to music and have fun! . . KIDS Movements: These classes will focus more on Urban Choreography/Creative movements for your kids. A fun way to keep your kids active and meet new friends over the summer. They will also get to perform at a show at the end of our 8 weeks session!. . Class Levels:. * Our levels does not define the way our instructors choreograph, but the way they will be teaching. *. . Beginner - This will be a slow teaching class. Our instructors will spend more time on individuals, rather than finishing a routine and making everyone dance. Even though it's so called "beginners", the challenge will still be there. Open to all ages.. . Intermediate - This class will focus more on finishing sets. I.e: finishing 4 counts of 8 for the class. Our instructors will open up small groups for everyone to showcase what they got! Open to all ages.. . Open Level - This class will push everyone to step out of their comfort zone. We will be teaching more choreography and will focus on doing groups and solos. It's a place to explore how much better you can be. Everyone that takes these classes improves inside 2 months of taking classes from us. We will help you step out of your comfort zone and be a class killer someday! All ages.. . Other styles than can pop-up weekly:. Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Krump, Zumba, Batchata, and more partner dancing!. . Studio Rentals: (Includes quality speakers, CD player or AUX cord, lots of parking, water dispenser and cups, and a healthy environment ). . $30.00 per hour - Rehearsals/Meetings. $40.00 per hour - Workshops/Classes. $200.00 (8 hours) - Parties/Events. .
