Detailed description is Little Stream Farm LLC is selling "almost organic" eggs. We are adding 25 Black Australorp chicks on November 21, 2014 to our current flock 50 hens. We are a small family run farm and raise heritage breed chickens for "Almost Organic" eggs. Our chickens are free range and pasture raised. This means that the chickens roam the pastures all day and only come in the barn to lay eggs and roost at night. While roaming the pastures, our chickens eat all kinds of seeds, green plants, insects, bugs, and grain. Our chickens have never been vaccinated or been given any antibiotics. We never feed our hens medicated feed and no pesticides are ever used on the pastures. The pastures are seeded with organic seed. We only feed our chickens non GMO feed with no medication or antibiotics, it is just not certified as organic, hence my claim of “almost organic eggs”. Our chickens tend to be happier and lay more nutritious eggs.. . More great news about free-range and pasture raised chickens.
