Bring the whole family out for a full day of entertainment and activities in Longview! Longview is nestled in the lush green rolling Foothills with the majestic Rocky Mountains standing guard to our near west.
Long before the area was ever settled it had been a popular and bountiful gathering spot for our First Nations.
In more recent history, the area has been devoted to both Ranching and Oil.
During the height of the boom Longview became known as Little New York along with several other communities that were known as Little Chicago and Little Philadelphia.
After the huge oil boom in the early 20th century subsided, many families had to leave the area in search of work.

The Little New York Daze celebration came into being when many families would return to Longview for a reunion or homecoming of sorts.
