El Lido es un famoso cabaré parisino que presenta revistas de gran espectáculo.HistoriaEn 1946, los hermanos Clérico, Jean y Joseph, adquirieron un local llamado «La plage de Paris», en la avenida de los Campos Elíseos, y crearon un cabaret al que llamaron el «Lido», porque la decoración original estaba inspirada en la famosa playa del Lido de Venecia. El cabaret fue inaugurado con la revista musical Sans rimes ni raisons, el 20 de junio del mismo año.En 1977, los propietarios del Lido compraron un edificio colindante para que el cabaret pudiera tener un restaurante y para aumentar el aforo de la sala. Desde entonces, el Lido tiene una superficie de unos 6.000 metros cuadrados y capacidad para más de un millar de espectadores.En 1946, Joseph y Louis Clérico retoman el Lido, establecimiento muy famoso en la Belle Epoque, cuya decoración se inspiraba en Venecia y su célebre playa del Lido.Lo transformaron por completo para convertirlo en un cabaret único en el mundo.Muchos espectáculos comenzaron a aparcer, cada vez más espectaculares y siempre con un triunfo inmediato. La avenida más hermosa del mundo aún guarda en su memoria los grandes estrenos del Lido, a los que acudieron la alta nobleza internacional.En 1958, el espectáculo del Lido se representó en Las Vegas, en el Stardust.
