Open to youth and families of all ages and free to the public, LEAF Southside is a fun way to unleash your creative side and develop your own artistic voice..

Imhotep, LEAF Schools and Streets Teaching Artist since 2005, is an experienced and eccentric teacher and drummer.
Hailing from New Orleans, Imhotep drums in several groups around Asheville including “Absurdist Gypsy Folk Funk Punk” band, Sirius B., and Rising Appalachia.
He spends his time teaching and helping other local artists find success..
