Kirby is originally from Montgomery and learned how to water ski on Parker Creek back in the late 50’s. His wife, Robin, is originally from Marietta, Georgia, but they now live permanently at Lake Martin and are proud to call it home. . . Kirby received his Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Technical Institute, a Division of Georgia Institute of Technology. He also completed The Executive Program at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia. In 1983, Kirby & Robin helped to establish a Montgomery based construction company. With Kirby as Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO, the company’s annual revenue grew to over $700 million. The construction projects ranged from housing developments and shopping centers to U.S. Embassies and military facilities, both domestic and internationally.. . In 2012, Kirby retired, and has now formed Lake Martin Home Management LLC in order to offer his experience and expertise to the home industry at Lake Martin.
