Detailed description is 100 and 50 mile Trail Run along the shores of one of America's most beautiful lakes, entirely on the Russell Forest Trail System. And there is a 27 mile Fun Run, it is a race, but it will be fun. The Lake Martin 100 Mile Endurance Race will be a great "first 100 or 50 miler race. The race will consist of four 25 mile loops (or 2). Each loop will have four aid station stops ranging from 4 to 7 miles apart, but each lap is serviced by only two aid stations. That is, each loop, runners will return to the two aid station, twice. This means the entire 100 mile race is served by two aid station. Runners will never be more than a few miles away making drop bag planning a snap. We have also designed the course so that there are no repeated trails.
