They flourish on a simple diet of mom's rich milk, mineral supplements like kelp and trace mineral salt, high quality winter hay, and the farm's well-managed summer pastures. . . L Bar E Farm is a breeder of registered, production oriented Suffolk sheep that strives to produce high-quality Suffolk rams and ewes that maintain the breed characteristics of the true Suffolk. We raise our flock in a low input, forage-based system. Our sheep flock has been enrolled in the Scrapie Flock Certification Program (SFCP) and we have one more year in our quest to have a Scrapie Certified Flock. We often have Suffolk sheep (Suffolk rams and Suffolk ewes) for sale for breeding stock. . . The farm is owned by Leonard and Elizabeth Riccio and is located on a high step desert plateau in southwest Idaho, approximately 26 miles west of Boise, Idaho.
