Entlang einer meterhohen Holzwand, die den ionisierten Wasserstaub des tosenden Wasserfalls bändigt, laden Liegestühle zum Innehalten und beeindruckten Genießen dieses einmaligen Kraftplatzes ein. Weitere 80 Terrassenplätze stehen zum Essen zur Verfügung.. . Das Kraftwerk, 1914 errichtet, zählt zu den ältesten im Land Salzburg. Der Betrieb wurde 1996 eingestellt. Heute stehen Teile des Kraftwerks unter Denkmalschutz, die 2 mächtigen Francis-Turbinen dienen nun als imposante Innenausstattung. Inmitten der technischen Anlagen kann in einer bunten Loungelandschaft gegessen und getrunken werden. . Der Überlauf des Thermalwassers beheizt den Boden der Terrasse. Da sich im Kraftwerk auch der Behälter zum Sammeln der umliegenden Thermalquellen befindet, sorgt diese natürliche Abwärme dafür, dass es im Café auch im Winter wohlig warm ist.. .
