Kelly Council of the Knights of Columbus is located within District 13 of the State of Maryland in Anne Arundel County. The Council was instituted on October 12, 1992, the quincentennial of the landing of Christopher Columbus in the New World. The Council was organized by Former District Deputy Kenneth Sassaman under the leadership of Past Maryland State Deputy and Vice-Supreme Master Francis M. Feeley. Former District Deputy Robert Cleckner, Sr. was our Charter Grand Knight.. . A majority of the members of Monsignor Raymond P. Kelly Council are parishioners of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church in Riviera Beach, Maryland, but many members also participate from surrounding towns and parishes. Established in 1946, St. Jane Frances Church is among the larger parishes in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and the Council takes its name from its first pastor. Council officers and our Past Grand Knights are listed in the accompanying tables. The Council presently has approximately 153 members and is enrolled in Division B of the Maryland State Council.. . Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday (business meeting) and the fourth Wednesday (social meeting) of each month at 7:00 PM in St. Jane Frances Parish Hall at 8513 Saint Jane Drive in Pasadena, Maryland.
