Detailed description is A little history Kiwanis Club of Sandwich was founded on March 23,1978. The club began with just 15 members and has grown to its current membership of 22. Over the years, the club has held many fundraisers, including pancake breakfasts, spaghetti feeds, bike rides, golf tournaments, poker tournament, printing a town map and other events. We help out in the community in a variety of ways, including sponsoring community service focused youth groups, highway clean-ups, raising money to benefit children and children's support groups, and providing scholarships. The club has enjoyed a rich history over the years, with its members coming from fields like accounting, civil service, education, management, dentistry and many more. Over the last seven years the club has donated in excess of $550,000 to the community and Cape Cod charities. The club has a 501(c)(3) designation so that any and all donations made to the club are fully deductible according to IRS regulations.. .
