The Kiwanis Club of Lost Mountain was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 1997. Our motto is "Serving the Children of the World".. . This is accomplished in two ways:. . Promoting and encouraging leadership and community service among our youth. Supporting international projects. The club has youth-oriented service leadership programs and community service activities that serve the children and communities in the West Cobb County area.. . Our meetings are held each Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at the West Cobb Senior Center, 4915 Dallas Highway, Powder Springs, GA. The meetings last for one hour with guest speakers from a wide array of backgrounds. Our membership is made up of adult professional, business people and retirees of good character and community standing.. .
