When God placed the seed in our heart to even begin contemplating starting a ministry, a church, or whatever you want to call it, we had to address that burning question of "What has God called us to do?" What we found out is that we will never fit the mold of what we believe 90% of Christians (not to mention the un-churched world) thinks that the church is, should be, and are looking for. . . So if you are in search of a great church with a super fun’ Sunday School for kids, a cool and hip youth and young adult ministry, a life group for every age and need, we will most likely disappointed you. We want to "DO" church and ministry much differently than that. All of those things are great and are needed. However, we feel called to raise up a community of believers who will walk into their God-given destinies and "BE" the church. We refuse to develop a church based on the needs and wants of those who attend. Rather, it is our desire that believers are provided the opportunity to expand their God-given abilities and to acquire the tools to do so. Our goal is to equip and enable each believer to encourage and edify the body of Christ as well as be a light to the lost. At Kingdom Life Ministries we believe that as we seek first the Kingdom of God, dig into the Word, spend time in worship and prayer, the Holy Spirit will begin to birth within us the areas of ministry we are specifically called into. We can only do this through setting a biblical standard for all instruction, maintaining a Christian walk and accountability to each other, developing an atmosphere of spiritual growth and maturity, loving, caring for, and encouraging each other to reach our God-given potential. As a local Body of Christ we can then help each other prepare for and launch those ministries, grow them, and release the Kingdom of God into the world around us. Only then will we be able to function as a "Local Church", ministering to all ages with children's and youth programs, being evangelists spreading the Gospel message, and opening our doors like a hospital to the sick, weary, wounded, and broken. Only then will we be able to enjoy our weekly GATHERING times knowing we have advanced the Kingdom of God. . . if you are looking for a place where you go on Sunday's to hear one person preach a really good message that makes you all goose-bumpy, hear music that gets you all pumped up, where you can sit in the same seat waiting for someone to feed you, make you feel good and not make you feel bad, where you can be a spectator instead of a participator, where all of the needs are met by the pastor and a small team of people, where you are never challenged to grow in your spiritual walk and be ready to walk it out in everyday life, where you are never required to give of your time, talents and resources, where you will be content with living life only receiving the salvation Jesus Christ has offered us and not everything else he provided, where you are happy staying in the safe Christian-Zone rather than pursuing a victorious, abundant, God-chasing, what Jesus and His disciples showed what was the "NORMAL CHRISTIAN" life outlined in scripture then Kingdom Life is not the place for you.. . But if deep in your heart you know there is something more and want to be part of something bigger, we invite you to join us. We are not against the local church. We are for the Kingdom of God until it invades every area of the believers life and impacts the world around them.
