Our mission is to help young, at-risk Haitians create a productive and sustainable future for themselves.
Now, more than ever, Haitian youth need help to (re)build their lives.
Most of our beneficiaries come from the safe environment of an orphanage, where they lived until they were ready to start an independent life.
Full of hope, they looked for work, made plans to start a business or continued their education..
On January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti.
In a matter of seconds, these youth lost everything they had so carefully built up.
Today, months after the horrendous tragedy, their lives are slowly taking shape again.
Doing so, however, is extremely challenging when you have no income, no home and no family support..
Kids Connection Haiti offers Haitian orphaned and at-risk youth the tools to (re)build a stable and secure future.
We reach out to an age group of people who are often forgotten.
