Detailed description is K.D.St.V. Rheinland zu Köln . . Die Katholische Deutsche Studentenverbindung Rheinland zu Köln wurde am 21. Juni 1913 an der Handelshochschule Köln, als Alternative zu schlagenden und politisch orientierten Korporationen, gegründet. 1936 musste Rheinland unter dem Druck der politischen Verhältnisse aufgelöst werden. Sie überlebte die folgenden Jahre als katholische Studentengruppe „Christophorus“, bevor sie ab dem Wintersemester 1947 unter ihrem alten Namen wieder aufblühen konnte.1978 fusionierte die K.D.St.V. Salia mit Rheinland. Salia war 1904 in in der schlesischen Universitätsstadt Breslau gegründet, nach dem Krieg an der Philosophisch-Theologischen Akademie Paderborn wiedererrichtet worden und 1952 an die Universität zu Köln verlegt worden.. . Als Gegenpart zur Anonymität einer Massenuniversität bilden wir heute mit über 250 Bundesbrüdern einen die Generationen übergreifenden Freundeskreis, eine lebenslange Gemeinschaft von Jung und Alt. Wir unterstützen uns gegenseitig in unserem akademischen und persönlichen Werdegang durch Übernahme von Verantwortung, durch Austausch von Erfahrungen und gemeinsames Feiern.. . Auf unserem Rheinlandenhaus stehen sechs Zimmer zur Verfügung. Studenten finden sich hier über mehrere Semester hin zu einer Haus- und Studiengemeinschaft zusammen.. . . . Cartellverband. .
