Detailed description is For the purpose to prevent Drug Abuse in the Society, Human Welfare Society ,has set up the De-Addiction Treatment cum Rehabilitation Centre at Hailakand The Karuna Foundation Haiilakandi (Barak Valley) is a Drug De addiction Rehab center at Hailakandi, Mr Jamil Ahmed Barbhuiya has been a main leader in the activities at the Karuna foundation in Hailakandi.
,enthusiasm and charitableness are displayed by the staff towards the community and patients.It is associated with Human Welfare Society, & Rural Dev,& Social Service Orgacnisation, SOCIETY –NGO & other like minded person /association .

For the purpose to prevent Drug Abuse in the Society, Human Welfare Society ,has set up the De-Addiction Treatment cum Rehabilitation Centre which was started as Drug Awareness Counselling and Assistance Centre in 2015 with the support from Rural Dev, & social Service Organisation , SOCIETY NGO.
This is the First & spirited drug De addiction Center in Hailakandi District ..
The Karuna Foundation gives patients the opportunity to deal with many issues associated with addiction.
The de-addiction program features a superior holistic approach.
Yoga and meditation are incorporated into the daily schedule at Karuna Foundation .along side more conventional methods such as detoxification.
