We breed Chocolate labs and Fox Red labs.
We introduce them to wings, bumpers, grouse and duck scent, gunshots, and water (weather permitting).
We also expose them to our other dogs and our young children, everyday noises like vacuums, and take them for rides in their kennels in the car and introduce them to stairs.
We also begin kennel training the pups when they are weaned around 4wks old.
We have an inside kennel with a dog door that enables them to learn to go outside to go potty at their convenience.
Our approach to kennel training is to better ready the pup for life in their new home.
Our goal is to get them in the routine of going to a door to be let out to go potty and drastically cut down on housebreaking for their new owner..
