The REC Room (a Youth Resource & Enrichment Co-Op) provides teens with a safe space to learn about fostering healthy relationships and making healthy choices.
At the REC Room, teens 12-18 can spend time with friends and access information about the resources, activities and programs available for youth in the community -- all with the guidance of a Youth Development staff member.
The REC Room offers wi-fi, movies, air hockey, ping pong, guitars, free snacks, computers, art and craft supplies, and a lending library..

WOMEN’S HEALTH OUTREACH:.
KBFPC’s Women’s Health Outreach Program reaches medically underserved women by combining door-to-door outreach and public events as a way to provide one-on-one information, education and encouragement.
Over the past twelve years the program has reached more than 11,000 women with information and direct counsel about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
The KBFPC is a provider for the Alaska Breast and Cervical Health Check Program (BCHC) that covers the cost of an annual exam for women 21-64, including a mammogram for women 40-64.
