Detailed description is To promote our Registered Angus Cattle herd. We have bulls, heifers and cows for sale throughout the year. We have been raising black angus cattle since I was a freshman in High school. It all started with a youth loan through the Farm Service Agency, a cow calf and a replacement heifer. The idea was to build a cow herd in order to supplement my college tuition, but from there by graduation it had become a family operation. Our base cattle herd goes back to New Design 208, New Design 878 and many other greats. Our focus has be calving ease, with good maternal and current goals have focused on our growth and carcass traits while maintaining the calving ease and maternal with great disposition. . . Periodically we have bred cows that we sell usually between Aug - Oct, bulls usually starting in Jan they will be marketed and bull sales across the Pacific Northwest and sold private treaty. Semen tests are conducted on all bulls to be sold usually around March. This year is the first year in 2015 that we have some nice AI heifers to offer up for sale along with some out of our great herd bulls. Look for more in the years to come!
