Detailed description is Family owned and operated automotive repair shop serving the Leamington area since 1981. In 1981 John Dewhurst decided to leave his employer to start his own automotive repair shop. With 4 small children, the youngest being 3 year old twins, his wife was not entirely in favour of him leaving the consistent paycheck. They took out a small loan and John said if that money ran out he would go back to being employed.. He rented out an old coal barn on Oak Street and started his business with no hoist, saving every penny he made for six months to buy his first hoist. This hoist is still in operation today at the current location. . In 1986 John purchased the property on the corner of Erie St. and Seacliff Dr. and the business still operates at this location.. More than 35 years later John is now semi-retired and the everyday operations are managed by his son and daughter-in-law Wesley and Leah Dewhurst..
