.Joe Crossley has been in and around the leading edge of the new media art movement since 2006 being predominately in the curation and management space.
In 2009 his personal work GEO-GLO marked his arrival on the art scene with coverage from the likes of The Creators Project and VIVID Sydney.

Since then his works have branched out into ‘actual reality’ projection mapping working with indigenous communities of Australia, his VIVID Path to the Future project, a widely celebrated ‘open-source’ projection mapping film festival, as well as his continued passion for sacred geometry taking inspiration from names like Tesla, Turrell, and Buckminster-Fuller.

In 2015 he was invited to design an artistic response to the Sydney Lindt siege a project he completed in partnership with Epson projectors.
Transcendence was an explosion of scaffolding and bamboo marking a point of social change and evolution for Martin Place after such a terrible moment in the history of Sydney.

His ‘Opera-Theque’ themed installation and event curated by M&C Saatchi for their 10th anniversary was dubbed by the creative directors as “the greatest M&C party our history of very good parties” and received many rave reviews in international press.

2016 sees projects in Sydney with the University of Sydney on his new science inspired TRUE LIFE’ art collection n conjunction with the UNSW Quantum Physics laboratory as well as the 3D printed SOUND CELLS installation at world leading VIVID festival for WESTFEILD and THE SYNDEY OPERA HOUSE as well as shows in Iceland, Bali, New York and LA for his personal work not to mention using his creative technology genius for the Samsung’s SOUND AND VISION concert at the Sydney Opera House.

His current works including TRUE LIFE continued, OUTBACK LIGHTS an Indigeonus culture inspired projection mapping collection will be showing at the World Stage for Splendour in the Grass 2016, as well as visiting global sites of cultural interest in the coming years.
